Steve Neu and I been doing R&D lately. He got my TJ70 doing testing and I got his sample motor here doing testing to compare data.
So far the number look really good.
If everything is accurate from what I see.
IT show 10% more effecient than all testing we di with E-flite motor and Mega on the same RPM.
I'll wait for Steve result come in to compare with his testing on the bench with bellmount lip and 58mm exhaust tube.

Soon we had Neu/Tamjets version motor at 2000 watts will do the same as 2300 watts Mega and E-Flite BL32.
As right now information of motor and kv is hidden secret until we had productions ready.
Defintely interested in another TJ70 Tam with the new motor..keep me posted upon completion Buddy!!

Was that the video where they were flying on a public road, and about ran the plane into a motorcyclist while landing?

Smooth.... as a train wreck.

Recycling old junk

Someone mentioned an intake lip? What about a velocity stack? My nephew is into the boom stereo and had an old 15's sub woofer box that was falling apart so I snagged the aluminum ducts for 70mm NASA style testing in small scale! The e-flight is a bit larger but a lander, wemo, het, CS all fit and smooth the flow for testing etc.
PS: Is it me or is the stock CS shroud pretty lame. The motor mount flexes at high rpm causing scrub. I have a CP 3300 on 4s it runs well but tried on 5s and couldn't get past 1/2 throttle without it shaking. The one Phase-3 has isn't much better.

Nice score, there are also lots of plastic ducts available out there for speakers, but your alloy ones are trick

But why would you need a CS10 in a speaker box????

Got my F-100 done with TJ70 CS rotor 7s set up.
Peak 2300 watts and steady 2100 watts.
AUW 7.6 lbs.
Let see what the 70mm can do in the 90mm airframe.

3.45 Kg !!!! That F-100 is going to be a flying brick!! Maybe a fast flying brick.
But I guess fairly typical of a composite 90mm. (though my 90mm Hawker Hunter composite is 3.0Kg).
It also probably makes them fly more like a real version.... More runway needed, higher take-off and landing speed... less manouverable. All the things models usually do "too well'.

This bigger than Habu and be much lighter wing loading. It will fly like a glider. It flew before with 2400 watts at 8.5 lbs.

Can I get 5 lbs + static thrust with the cs 10 blade easily?
