Hello Raipe
technology allows you to make any option. but technical calculation is needed.

Ages ago I made some drawings and calculations for the community - the selected size is based on the required inlet area for an 120mm ejets EDF...
(I know its neither an Mk. 51 nor a 66 - but you get the idea and Egor might be willing to make two different noses )

Hi Mr. Ud,

Yes, I remember your post from earlier and was referring to it in my first post. I guess the Hawk is not that popular as not much interest has Been shown towards it despite you putting it out there. Will have to see. One can wish, right

Awesome work Egor!

Hello raipe,

didn't see your first post - sorry

I guess the reason for the weak interest in an Aerotetris -Hawk are the numerous kits from other vendors - partly at a low price, so only few people want to invest the time that's needed for an Aerotetris one

Nevertheless I would like one (whenever my other Aerotetris-Kits are done)

Yep, you're probably right about the arf market effecting interest in the Hawk. F-18 wouldn't probably rise enough interest either due to same reason. I'll just have to stand by If enough people show up or some other must have type ends up in the Tetris lineup.

I saw here on RC Groups, where some one did a smaller Aerotetris style build of a Cutlass.

Any interest?

I think I know the build you're talking about - yes it was a nice build, I'd like to build a bigger version but the shipping is so expensive from Europe to the US.

A Cessna tweet would be also a must have for me. Someone suggested this a while back I believe.

So any of the three and I'll get one:
Bae Hawk
F-18 C or D
Cessna T-37 Tweet (easy to make into a dragonfly If someone likes it more)

...I like the poor mans A-10 from Cessna, but the inlet area is so small - this thing has to be huge to be operated with two 120's

Very true. Twin 90mm would be big too. Would have to see the dimensions. I made a solid 3d model of the Tweet for twin 70mm few years back but can't remember the ws. Never made anything out of it though.

Shipping is tad expensive I agree. But I would be willing to pay it to get a large scale F-7U3 Cutlass. 120 to 127mm fan or twin 80mm, 90mm would be good too! Still have hopes

I did a Tweet several years back in cad, cut one and assembled it but fan access was too difficult as one of the motors gave out. I redid it in Sketchup and it’s much better but have not had time to do anything with it.
When I do 80mm will be the size I will scale it to.
Cheers,
Eric B.
