They will be available soon at Hobbyking, price will be around the same as the P-47 I would think.

Tailwheel is fixed but mains are servoless retracts, also has flaps with "slow" servo's and lights.

Not another fixed tail wheel! That looks absolutely atrocious with the mains up and the tail wheel dangling like it's broken, but the rest is so awesome I MIGHT be able to look past it.... I simply can't stand that shortcutting trend among RC taildraggers. It needs to stop!

Great model all around otherwise. I'm likely to buy it and look into modding a retractable TW of my own - Very nice to see some manufacturers making quality models in the parkflyer size class. It seems like the market is pushing toward larger and larger planes that are difficult to transport.

Scott, are you planning a corsair or a spitfire in the same class/size of these?

Wow! I am impressed!!!

If that Mustang is of any decent quality, flies well and comes at a reasonable price at the DE warehouse, it will be a no-brainer for me to buy it!

Darn, not only that FMS is collecting my money, no Hobbyking also does as I am already VERY interested in their Lancaster!

Cheers,
Bernhard

Oh no... a Corsair in 1100mm with etracts? Oh man my wife's gonna kill me!!!

Scott, are there already pics or videos of that one or a thread on here?

BTW: I just realized that Jug is also available in 1600mm. Is there a thread about it already?

And Scott, as the 1100mm Jug is only available in the HK warehouse... is any of the Mustang, Corsair, Lancaster or whatever other bird you might have in the works gonna be available in the DE warehouse?

Cheers,
Bernhard

Honest question here (before I get flamed).

Why is it difficult to produce scale aircraft, or at least aircraft that are very close to having the right proportions etc? To me the profile of this P51 is just too short and because of this the whole plane looks unattractive. Some details are correct but taken together it is less than the sum of its parts.

Is it a question of keeping cost down, or the difficulty of getting a decent CoG?

This is an 850mm P51 that to my eye has better proportions, so surely it could just be extrapolated upwards to produce a bigger scale?

At HK:
https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=19201

Costs only $200 plus shipping which is some $75 to Germany...
