You are the only one to answer correctly.

My secret birdie says it is a bipe.

It's secret so I can't say anymore or else I would have to k... (you know what would have to happen).

I guess that will be a warm up plane, the extra slick snaps & rolls fast, especially on 3s with the motrofly. The yak is just straight up wide open, insane roll rate, only plane I own that the aileron throw has actually been turned down from full deflection.Crack yak is badazz

Dan, I have high hopes for this airplane. I'm thinking about hangar rash mainly. I don't mean any disrespect to its design at all. And I know that multiple people tried to tell me I don't need to modify it. It's (being as strong/durable as it possibly can be) a feature I care a lot about for this model, and I'm the kind of person who likes to add little customizations here or there.

I customized my Crack Yak in a number of ways although the spar wasn't one of them. I reinforced the nose behind the motor mount with 4 small rods of carbon fiber pushed in the nose out towards the end of each arm of the motor mount cross. I also used these:

for my control horns and for my aileron servo arm.

I think that added some durability compared to my Edge 540.

Question:

Do the larger EPP planes like the Telink need to be hung from the prop?

I'd like to have a large EPP plane that can ride along to work with me and go straight to the RC flying field after work and not be warped or out of trim.

Does this exist?

They can sit on the gear just fine. If its really hot prop up the tail do there's no weight on it and youll be fine.

FWIW, I leave my CY on its own gear in my car with the tail propped up too. No issues.
