FYI - The 1800kv's from China are on the "slow boat from China".
That 1700KV motor should be a killer! Ron

Download it from the Phoenix website, it doesn't come through automatic update as it's still in Beta at the mo. It gives you some 3D scenery and FPV mode, it's a bit of fun for a while but not really what is needed for an RC Sim. Some new models or the ability for user created ones would be even better, we can only hope that comes later in the Beta.

About all I can tell is,the graphics are a little sharper, but that's about it! I did have to down load it manually, though. It didn't show up in the updates. Geeese! I need to look up as I'm typing,Dan already answered that! I wish they would get more foamies in the plane section! Like a Big Slick,or Edge!Ron

SEFF is coming soon. April 23 - April 29. Just wondering how may TH fans will be attending?

I am hoping to be there the 25th thru the 29th. I'll be bringing my 32's Edge, Slick and Yak, and my 44 " slick. I will also have my 51 balsa Slick with me.

Got the girlfriend to fly the 32'' sbach today. It is only her second time on the sticks and she did great. Of course she hit the ground hard a few times but these planes are crazy tough. These can be very beginner friendly if you have a radio that you can tone down the rates especially since the stall speed is so low you can fly with extremely slow. She was doing loops and inside loops by the end of the 3rd battery and flying pretty fast i was surprised but she really enjoyed herself.

Looking at one of the 32`s, thinking of the yak but what are the different characteristics of each of the 32`s? I know there are some ef owners here and some know that each of the 48`s fly just a little bit different and was curious if the 32`s had different characteristics.

edit-also, eta on cf lg?

In the words of Shawn

"Edge-sick Slick-sicker Yak-sickest"

The Yak is the extreme 3D performer, where the Edge is more docile and floatier, and the Slick falls right in the middle.
