Ron, you are still a youngster. I am 74 and have belonged to the AMA since 1950 ha-ha.

"Thanks, Chris" is a saying my sons and I have. Chris is the middle son, a combat vet, 3rd ID, SWAT team in Iraq, and a very talented kid in many areas, he's the best pilot of the bunch since he flew private aircraft and soloed at the minimum age. It's "Thanks, Chris" because he crashed our camera rig (Gaui) pretty hard one day and cracked the chassis. Son #3, Adam, created the line. Good thing none of us take any of this hobby too seriously.

Anyway, Chris flew the Edge first (and last) today. He did a very soft, floaty landing and snapped the elevator at the control horn. We learned to be sure to let the controls go to center on landing - it's the only thing we could figure out that would cause that much stress. He walked back and said, "Thanks, Chris." LOL

First repair and we'll be back at it tomorrow!

What a great Twisted weekend we had Two indoor sessions with the RCF Edge's and a great day today outdoor with the whole Telink fleet in attendance plus the RCF Edge's and an Sbach. The weather was great with just a little breeze rolling through every now and then, even got to take the Jacket and Gloves off for a bit

To make it even better we now have this to look forward to http://www.parkaero.com/twisted-hobb...ock-1350-p.asp oh boy I hope the post man gets cracking

It's this one http://www.giantcod.co.uk/power-xdri...-p-406639.html but I think they are all pretty much the same. They don't have that one in stock but they have this one if your looking for one
http://www.giantcod.co.uk/fflying-qu...-p-406693.html It's the cheapest place I've found in the UK for them, hobby king may be cheaper though. On the subject of hobby king, did you hear there is supposedly a UK branch coming.

Yes it is a beautiful place to fly I count myself as very lucky to live up here.
