Finally some nice (not windy) weather here in central PA!

Had lots of fun going through 10 batteries on my crack 540.

Yea I know, just imagine a bunch of them all taking off at once....

With a little practice I think you could probably get some hovers out of this even without rudders... I am sure that someone (besides myself) is already dreaming up a rudder mod.... enter the 3D Crack Wing!

Maybe twin rudders like the strykers. Hmm looking at the pics and pdf it might be doable.

That tv system looks interesting. Need an extra servo to get it to work on the crack wing.

hi everyone i really like my crak yak lite but there is a slight issue. it flys pretty darn good but i used the electronics i had(HXT 500s and one 9 gram servo and a 17 gram 2000kv motor) its kinda under powered. wont pull out of a hover on the last minute of the battery amd im afraid to upgrade the motor to a slightly bigger one because its already .2 OZ over weight.

any options / opinions / help?

Could your problem be the batteries you use? I am running 20c's on my Vector right now and it's anything but fast. I'm waiting on some 30c's in 2s and 3s that should add some punch to it.

EDIT: Oh and I'm only running a 1500kv so that would be another factor to consider. I have the same servos as you as well.

May I ask here, as I know someone will ask (and it is for charging TH planes) - what is a safe amperage to charge a regular (heavy duty) 12v lead acid automotive battery (from anHyperion charger set to lead acid charge)? batt says about 320 cc amps

2A for 12 hours?

Don't worry be happy :)

The T-2004 is only good for 3D models up to a weight of 150 grams or 5,3 oz so you probably need another motor.
From T-Motor the older T-2006 is perfect or the new with slightly lighter weight, AT-2204. Twisted Hobbys 2203-1750KV 19g is very similar or maybe even identical.
The slight overweight is nothing to be worried about.

2A is fine and actually pretty slow. 6 amps should be no problem.
