It's actually VVG, variable vortex generators, the idea is the more the ailerons deflect the more effective they are. They create a vortex off the zig zagged section of the ailerons improving the air flow over the tail surfaces even when huge aileron movements are partially blocking the natural air flow. I'm even thinking of trying them on a completely different design, a delta winged, high tailed Polaris seaplane. The delta wing is great for high alfa and inverted is steady as a rock as the tail is in clean air but upright they rock like mad with the tail hidden behind the wing. I wonder if harrier performance is improved on the TH designs with the VVG's? any feedback?

Great video. You don't see a stationary KE everyday. I love these TH planes in the wind. The wind just makes it more fun. Thanks for posting the video and nice flying.

I'm going to give the VGs a shot. I have 2 CYLs so might as well. Can't hurt too much.

for the guys that are concerned about servo replacement, you can install your servo then when all finished use packing tape on both sides of the servo to hold it into place,it holds pretty good and will be easy to remove later if you have a problem,i will take pictures to show you later,i haven't done it to my plane yet but did it to a friends, which i will see tomorrow night and he loves the plane, just doing some real flight testing with it ,he said that he doesnt feel any difference between the plane with tape and the one with glue
