I like it, T Shirts, we'll take 10 of em! Can't wait to see some designs. TH folks are just that addicted that we'll need a different TH Shirt for every day of the week... Best get to work up there Brad. After T shirts you have your hoodies that we need, TH longsleeves perhaps...TH Crack Yak bath towels would be nice...

Nice flying. Thanks for the video. I have a hard time holding a kife edge in a straight line much less in a circle. Thanks again.

Perks of growing up, is the size and expense of the toys we have. Though I do wish my thumbs and reflexes were younger.

**** Twisted Hobby's ESC Defaults ****

BATT > LiPo
Governor mode > RPM OFF
Start > Soft
Brake > OFF
Timing > AUTO
Rotation > Normal
Cut off Volt > 3.0v/60%
Cut off Power > Reduce

These settings apply to all the new "Twisted Hobbys" Brand ESCs.

I could get into some TH swag! Perhaps Brad may throw out something very cool... like a t-shirt design contest.... first place winner gets an airframe! oooohhhhh.... lol.

Hey, maybe the guy who came up with the great idea should get a free plane.... just sayin. ;-) lmao!

back to flying talk....

Those of you who are using the HK Orange rx's on your Twisted planes ( I'm sure there have to be a few of you....) Do you leave the case on them or take it off? I know they said it saves like 4 or 5g by taking it off, but does it really matter?

Just as an experiment, I tried the ORX on my 32" Extra Slick. I kept the case on, and didn't feel that the case's weight made any real difference.

But, after the test period, I removed the ORX -- and haven't been tempted to put it back in. (Moved it to a Parkzone F4F Wildcat.)

Although it did do what it's supposed to in terms of stabilization, I didn't feel that the benefit was very necessary for this plane. And, I think it dampened - at least moderately - control inputs and maneuverability. (It's not necessary on the Wildcat, either....but the Wildcat's not an aerobat in the first place, so there's not as much downside from the ORX.)

I just like the price of them, and for foamies that aren't going to be very far away from me in a range perspective, they seem like a quite attractive choice. Especially compared to a 30-50 dollar receiver. I know the whole (get what you pay for) saying... but just wondered.
