I managed a couple of quick flights in yesterday before the weather turned bad. Had a little bad luck with the Buster, dumb thumbed it in inverted and tore the nose off. No big deal except it did break one of the cf rods in the fuse. Kind of wished I had substituted the heavier rods like in the Extra Slick instead of the thinner ones they use now. Plenty of Welders seems to have it fixed though.

You guys get snow down there? We're getting hammered right now. Have about 3-4" so far and tons of trees are falling down due to the fact that the snow is so wet and the trees haven't lost there leaves yet.

Thanks LOL! I never thought I'd see the day I'd be shoveling snow before doing my leaves

Yeah it's snowing, just some big sloppy wet flakes. Even a little sticking. I think it started about 2:30 pm or so. That's why I wanted to sneak in some flying yesterday, but it was just cold enough the Buster didn't quite bounce as good. I think if it had been warmer the nose never would have broken off, I didn't even nose it in it went in at an angle at about half throttle. On the third battery my rudder servo stopped dead, luckily the rudder was at neutral when it happened. Replaced it today with a stronger, hopefully more reliable one than the last one.

I thought the first one looks pretty cool as it is flying straight at my wife pretty fast. The wind was killing me tonight.

1.7m people in the North East are with out power, we already have just under a foot and more to come. Should be a record for October in some areas that's for sure.

When my son was in sixth grade we had 28" of snow on Halloween, that was 18 years ago when we lived back in North Dakota.
