The trunk is 37"x37"x19"


Like I said the 42" slick barely fits so I wonder if the big extra will fit.

I put mine in the back seat of a 99 camry, but the trunk would be a tight fit. For some reason i thought that was a 51'' but you did say little slick so i shouldve known, it looks big in that trunk though. I also am not sure of the length on the extra slick.

I realized why my Crack Yak crashes all the time. It was missing a pilot!

LOL, now you've done it, I'm not gona be able to fly the Crack Yak without that theme tune running through my head. Come to think of it it would be a cracking backing track for a video

My poor little Edge 540 has taken a real beating so far in its short life. I decided to leave the gear off when I made this repair.

You could have glued the old piece in, also you can drop some weight on the plane by removing the orange case on the RX. Really simple to do.

Youch! that's my concern about the gear, just put a set on my Crack Pitts! I wonder if I'll be able to fly it a bit more conservative than my other Twisted models? naaaaaa

What doesn't show up in the picture is the condition of the foam piece the gear is attached to. It was beyond use. Been glued too many times before. I like having the gear on but I just decided to leave it off this once. Got it all cleaned up and ready if I decide to put it back on this one or the new one. I like this edge because it nice and mellow.

Excuse my ignorance, I did read up a bit but still can't tell what using different prop sizes below will do to 32" planes with 1450kv crack series motor. Any of then should NOT be used AT ALL?

9x5
10x4.7

I know what the numbers specify, but could someone educate me on this subject and those specific props in lieu of 9x4.7 please.

You'd probably be fine with the 9x5 on 2S, 3S would probably be too much. The 10x4.7 would probably be too much even on 2S. The problem is the more you load a motor the more amps it will pull which could be too much for the motor or speed controller or both. The only way to know for sure is run it on a meter, though there are some motor calcs about than you can plug the numbers into that will give you a good idea of whether a combination will work or not.

I agree with Aviefly:

On 2S: 9x4.7 Tuff props work great (so 9x5 DD sounds fine)
On 3S: 8x4.3 Tuff props or GWS SF are awesome. Any larger and it will smoke.

I haven't tested a 10x4.7 yet...but since the 9x4.7 puts the motor and ESC nicely
at their limits, I am inclined to think it's too much.
