The World Models Super Taiji EP (40)

I'm a sucker for 40 size pattern ships. This was at the door when I got home today. I dont have gear yet but I'm thinking around 700 watts.

Yes the quality is very good it also has some unique features the self tightening wing latch system is one. I just had to see how this system works Here are some pic's. I should have my gear soon and will take pictures of the build.

It is a tapered wedge that is spring loaded into the wing tube.

The manual is very complete so I will post some changes I do.
I seal all control surfaces. Here I use some clear covering cut 1 inch wide.

JD, If you are going to do 700 watts on yours, I'm going to do 1150Watts on mine. And I already have the gear for it.

Ooooh! where you been out east ? I was out to the field last weekend had some good flying.

One thing on this bird if you use a bigger motor I would not use the stock mount it is for a motor with a length of 48.5mm I think tower was some mounts that would do the trick.

FYI: This plane has no motor mount or motor box just a strait fire wall.

I have all thr gear now to complete the Super Taiji, So moving forward.

Aileron Servo: I'm using Hitec HS 82 MG servo's all around as they fit the hole spacing for the mounts.

Next is the H.Stab this is just like the wing instal as it has a tube and anti rotation pins. It is secured with screws. One thing with this plane is the parts bags are numberd with the manual.

The elevator has no joiner but uses pushrods. This setup works nice and smooth.
