You can also test beta 7 of kk multicopter flash tool v0.60. It includes atmega8 based ESC now. The latest firmware is in the repository of the tool also.

You are welcome. Yes it is really nice to have this in the tool. I was already asked about one week before catch started to code his tool, but had no time. So catch jumped in. But after he disapeared in the forum and people ran into problem with broken files in his tool I worked a bit on the tool. And the changes I introduced in the past weeks for supporting Flycam blackboard, already made half the changes necessary to also support esc flashing.

You might want to select 'ATMega8' instead of Atting13 or whatever you got there.

you must select atmega8 under the chip menu setting. it's probably set at attiny13a now and the program is expecting a tiny but not finding one, hence the confirmation message.

Hobbywing Pentium-25Av ery hot

Hi Guys,

I ordered SimonK flashed 20/30/40 esc by TC and expect them in this week but.... I was preparing my setup with a benchtest. I'll use a Pulso 2314/22 (U-28M) approx. 370 watt motor. 4 S http://www.electriflite.co.uk/store/.../x2814-22.html. For test I used the Hobbywing Pentium-25A spec. 25 amp cont. 35Amp. burst for 10 sec.
My big surprise when I was 1 minute tetsting arround 1 kg trust, 12 amp. the ESC was stinking hot. How can???? I did same test with other ESC same model and same result.
Is this normal as 12 amp x 16.4 volt is still 200 watt. What goes wrong??

Is a 25 amp esct to small??
