I wish a Happy 4tyh to all.

No flying today. It's too hot !!! I did stay outside long enough to grill some pork tenderloin, for a family gathering.

Hi Brian

I'm in the process of remodeling my house, so I haven't had a chance to fly.

The temps are peaking in the 50's, now. I doubt that the Airmaster will get into the air this year.

Thanks for asking.

Well Tom, you've had a good-long run at a building spree and sooner; or, later you knew the wife is going to put you to work! We all knew it!

Dec. 31 2012 will be my retirement date. Hanging it up! Investment adviser says I have enough money to live until 83. I guess if I run out, I'll go back to work then.

Enjoy retirement, Mark. I sure do !!!

Fixing up the house was my idea, but my wife is more than happy with it. LOL

I'm in the process of re-doing the kitchen. Some new cabinets and refinish the old ones,, new flooring, new lighting, and a new ceiling in the laundry room.

I also re-did my pond area over the Summer.

There's one thing about projects done during retirement. They take a lot longer than if you were working. I know that this statement doesn't seem to make sense, but you'll understand after you settle in to retirement.

I totally understand that remark....I retired 5 years ago,and I don't know how we ever had time to work and play...There isn't enough time to do one of them now.

Has anyone else noticed that the best builders here on RCG as well as the other forums always have the most pristine lawns and gardens you will ever lay eyes on?

I think that we have common interests. That could be the reason.

I agree with the 'common interests' statement....we like to make something from nothing.. -planes from flat wood, comfort zones from dirt and seeds...
I don't have a pond yet,but it's in my mind.

I've been at this address since 1951,and everything you see here is by my hand. Trees, grass, flowers and plants are the way I want them.

Next year the young trees will support a hammock, and I won't get ANYTHING done!
