Good catch on the scratch and dent - I ordered one at regular price before they sold out for a second time. Sorry I don't have useful information for you...!!

If it's anything like the SAPAC 70mm ViperJet then the wings will be a glue on affair. I can't imagine them having any sort of retention mechanism (I considered that for my SAPAC Viper though) or bolt on feature like the Habu 32.

Guess we'll have to wait until they show up, unless the guy who posted a first look Review on the product page can tell us differently...

I just took another look at the pictures, and I am 100% sure they are glued on wings.

When I was considering removable wings on my SAPAC 70mm Viper, I was thinking along the lines of gluing tabs/tongues on the roots of the wing panels, a cut out in the root fairing on the fuz, and a screw in plastic bolt - like the SebArt stuff. Yes, it means a bit of faffing around and removing the fan cover, but, if it's the difference between you being able fit the model in the car and having to sell it on...

Possibly making the winglets removable might be enough.

Thanks from the pictures I can see lots of alignment pins but nothing to hold them tight to the fuzz.

Shamu, thanks for posting those pics. Looks OK - I don't think any of us were expecting E-Flite Habu 32 quality, I was more hopeful it wouldn't be ProEDF type quality. Looks like you have a few chips here and there (left intake) and there's gaps between the ailerons and wing etc etc. But for the money we paid, it definately looks OK. Look forward to getting mine and getting it airborne!!
