The Avroto M2814-11S Short Shaft 770KV motors are good and will work. You can use 25a ESC's. John sells the motors but everyone is out of stock right now till Oct 10th.

They look like they put out more watts and are supposed to be good motors. Maybe someone will chime in that have used both motors.

Just to let you Know you will have to move the Shaft on those Motors.
So they would not be plug and play for UAV Applications.

depends on the camera, simple gopro setup or heavier point and shoot or camcorder?

what are planning on lifting with the x650 frame will not take too much weight at all

Where did u find that info? What is too much weight? I wasnt aware of a big weight limitation on the X650 frame.

+1. This vendor tested the frame to lift AUW 2.5 kg. Should be just fine for gopro and fpv stuffs.

Will the ESC's fit in the provided space on inthe arms?

Interesting setup;

swapping out the motors and esc later, just want get it built and setup.
