Hello guys; I'm Bill and been flying for about four years. I have two original Hun Hunters from HL, one that I'm flying and one that is still new in the box and just received the HK version today. I just couldn't resist buying one at that great price and it being fully equipped. I'll probably assemble it tomorrow but I don't think I've have time to maiden it. I will let you guys know what I think about it.

Maiden Flight of the HK P-47

The plane is worth every penny!!! Much more than I expected ! It flew great! Landing were smooth as a baby's butt! Overall quality was quite good. The assembly was easy, straight forward. I trimmed a small piece of foam on the underside of the canopy to allow room for the wires coming off the receiver( see picture). If I had used a end pin receiver i would not had to remove any foam. Two of my fellow flyers said they were each ordering one tonight. Name: IMG_2101.jpg

A few more pictures of the HK P-47

Forgot to mention a couple of things; The tail wheel did not seem to have much steerable movement. After three flights I noticed my tail wheel was a little out of adjustment ( my error). The stock prop seemed fine to me . It was quite sturdy, and I didn't notice flexing. It might be my old eyes but, it looks like the fuselage might be a hair thicker, the front cowling seems to be a slightly different size and a few details in the foam are different compared to the original HL version.Btw the retracts and flaps work great. The quality of the motor and electronics appear very good. I have included a couple pictures of the HL and HK versions side by side. cheers Bill
