I have noticed the Corsair rivets are mostly flush, even the screws.
Yeah that's why I was leaning towards a paint pen or perma-ink pen. One last hurdle to get over...Valspar doesn't come in the dark gloss navy blue that I need to do this livery correct. Their satin indigo is too light a shade. I did find:

Rust-Oleum 249098 Painter's Touch Multi-Purpose Spray Paint, Gloss Navy Blue, 12-Ounce

That Home Depot seems to carry so I will go investigate tonight. As long as it is enamel it should work fine...

Maybe you can look for an Ensign blue?

Ensign blue seems to be more of a royal blue than a navy?

Ha, you rascal, it's such a faint put-off and you're on it already (like someone else didn't notice). The beauty is it's likely a very minor impact detail to correct - you gotta' know they aren't likely to even notice or care about it.

I say, dry off the 'splash', get in front of the heater to return to normal and get one of these if you can warrant it!! .......

It really does look like more camera distortion than in the construction "upon further review..!"

Ensign blue is a match to the paint used on the H9 cowl. once you weather and then dullcoat everything the entire colour will change. The trick is to make sure the entire model is the same blue.

Rivets

Aros,

Try using a pouce wheel. It is a hand held fabric tool with a bunch a sharp spikes on a roller/wheel. Roll along each side of the panel lines and it puts a line of dimples. if you want them to stand out - paint the dimples white then do your base color - or use a silver sharpie.
