Yup. They sure look like they are up to task. We will know soon enough. I should be getting this Corsair in the next two weeks.

dear all, news come from fms team, we are working till now to research a new retract integrate with the 1700mm warbirds. Finally we get the sample tested, it works well with no fatigue failure happen after 2000 times cycle with the loading of strut and the tire and hub set, well the pc board seems strong enough to carry more power input. Thanks for your great patient, we will keep our words to make a renown retract for you all.
+1 plus one

headed into the 9's
If that retract is the new FMS retract then as far as looks go- it appears to be very stout! The big question- will they raise the price of this bird? I will hit the buy it button as soon as this plane hits the market any way, unless it sends it to over the $500 mark. THANKS FMS, KEEP THEM COMING!

Now those look like quality retracts! Now all we need is an AD-4 Skyraider to put them in!!One that is as scale as the 1100mm one, which I have and it is sweet!

Hope not!! For me it needs to stay close to the same price as the 1700mm P47/P51
I have the P47---which I could buy now for $250 with the discounts--not me I had to pay the $389, but I still enjoy the crap out of it
Sooo---No more than $430 tops for the Corsair--- but hey that is small talk-- I will probably fold like a cheap aluminum can--dang the addiction

Someday, I hope FMS's warbirds are as scale in detail as that one...Rolling canopy, scale-speeds on flaps, etc...

the more there is discussion on $$ about these retracts ...the worse we make it for our selves. I would advise discussion on and about $$$ of that subject be kept to PM's between each other and out of the public forum.

trying to help here guys from hard lessons learned

posted a similiar statement over in the P-51 thread

These look fantastic and very much alike the eflites i own.
I hope these also make it into the 1400mm series. I'd gladly pay some more and end up with a retract i do not have to replace immediatly (with a 150 dollar retract).

Oh boy. This looks really nice. Love my 1400, and sumthin a bit bigger would be a killer.

When is this one due? And - of course - is Banana Hobby gonna be the only US vendor? Hello, Philip, hope you're going to get 'em too.
