One thing I forgot to correct after my "mini-review" video was that the missiles have their own plates that screws into the wing. There's two sets of plates. One set with the missile slots and one set without. That way you can just glue the missiles to the slots if you want to have missiles. If you don't, you use the plates without the slots. Both easily screw on/off the wings.

I was too stupid to realize why they had two plate sets.

amost a disaster

Went to home depot with my rudder to color match the blue. They said it would be 10 min and to leave the rudder and shop. When I returned, she dipped her finger in the paint and smeared it on the bottom of the rudder. Then she grabbed her heat gun to dry the paint. I stopped her before she damaged the foam. Lesson - never let your rudder out of your sight.

Only second in importance, how was the color match? And what brand paint did you opt for?

On my P-40 the color match is perfect and I used Behr premium plus flat which is latex in there sample bottles which is cheap.

On the Corsair I am going to try Glidden which is an eggshell. These are the only choices for the sample size. I don't even use my airbrush but a foam brush instead. You can't really tell about the match until it is dry but the sample she smeared on my rudder looked pretty good.

Mine had too much toe in which I corrected by using a dremel cut off wheel and touching up the flat.

The axles use snap rings which I hate because they always come off and bye bye wheel. I am going to JB weld them on.

I am putting one receiver in the wing to run the wing servos and retracts and another receiver in the fuselage to run everything else. That way I only have to connect a power lead when attaching the wing.
How inthe world do you use more than one receiver?

With the Futaba 18 mz one receiver can be channels 1 - 8 and the other 9 to 16. So each servo gets its own channel. Gear door sequencing is done in the transmitter.

Since I am a Jr guy I simply bind two 2.4 receivers for same plane.

Ok I hope this is the revised hub and wing. Here are some pics.

Crap pics are too large to upload, I will hace to show them later.

I have a DX8, is it possible with that? How do you tell the TX which channel is what if you're using two receivers?

Krashem, That sure looks like V2 as far as the wings. Sorry about the B-25. What B-25 is it?
