Thanks to HLC Shop, we now know a F4U will join it.

According to HLC, the current specs are :
- 270KV motor
- 5S Lipo
- 85A ESC

I hope FMS will make the wing foldable, even manually and with a lock system, to help transport in a car.

I will have to buy one. I'm glad I passed on the 1400mm Corsair...

I pre-order some pcs of each new model in 1700mm, and P-38 also.
About the "kit" ready to paint, it will be only the frame, but I will suggest to FMS that they can provide a kit, with all electronics parts and the frame.
I will receive 1st pcs end of october.

I'll get one of these for sure. Their 1700 series looks pretty nice.

I'd like to see other photos & I REALLY hope it ends up being 6s. I only have one 5s battery but tones of 6s batteries that I use in my 90mm jets. I bought a bunch of used 6s 5000mah batteries in prep for the LX Corsair. Now this is coming out & it's bigger. I would think it should be 6s also.

270kv motor is really, really low for a 5s battery setup. A 270kv would be right for an 8s, but not 5s unless the pitch of the prop is way above 10

Sorry, i told you 5S....It is 6S....
Motor should be same size that is installed in the F4U 1600mm from BH/LX and P-40 from ARC/HK. Works very well with 6S. It is not a racer, it is a warbird.

That photo looks to be of a static display model. No real visible clues that it's an R.C model such as exposed control linkages.

Not all the time I have a 4 blade on my Hanger 9 Spitfire and flies way better then a 2 blade

Maybe they'll do what LX is doing with their 1600mm Corsair from what I heard. They'll throw both a 3 blade & a four blade in the box.

Sorry buddy, I am not FMS and actually this is the first time I hear about a 1700mm Corsair.
No one but HLC has confirmed that so far. I already inquired with FMS... might be a misunderstanding, not sure if there will really be such a big F4U...

By the way, both 3- and 4-blader props fit good to the F4U. It just depends on what version the model does represent
