DJI Wookong-M Owners Thread *Pics*Videos*Settings*

OK I think we need a thread dedicated to Wookong-M settings,Pics, Vids etc.. The other thread, the info is all over the place. This thread will have dedicated sections for vids,pics,settings,etc.... Hopefully the dealers and manufacturer will also help with tech support here. This will make it much easier for guys to know what works and what doesnt and see proven rigs and the settings used.

MISC:

Advance parameter tuning-

“I” value
Better left alone, it is mainly for forward flight with head wind. Increase for strong head wind. Decrease for strong tail wind.

“V Damping” value
Ascending and descending braking, as to how fast you want the multi to stop. Increase value to have fast braking.

“Disturb Gain” value
Increase to have higher position hold; decrease to have less. Fine tuning between ATTi and GPS modes in position hold.

All advance parameters are only good in GPS mode.

battery voltage monitor

I have now started to run with the new power module, and it works great, no heat buildup coming from an ESC. Also it makes me feel safe about the battery voltage, I have in the past had the quad fall out of the sky because I was not paying attention to how long it was up, and the battery had dropped below a safe value. Now with the settings I've been using, which after looking over the battery graphs I set the values, and it comes down slowly at the very end and I still can control it where I would like it to land. The throttle settings are above neutral point but still can raise and lower it if needed and landed where I would like. Here's an example of my settings and I made to a little adjusting the first setting but so far works great.
