I am sure there planes fly great, I just was saying I would rather pay a little extra money for something made in the USA than something made elsewhere.

There are plenty of 3D profile kits made in the US.Go to the Pro Bro forum and click on Pro Bro approved vendors.

I would like to obtain the estimated weight of the 38" EPP Slick....

I've built quite a few 40"-42" 9mm EPP flat planes with the carbon bracing and they come in at around 14.5oz up-to 18oz depending on the equipment used and the airframe. The light builds I use 800mAh-850mAh packs and the heavier ones I use 1000mAh-1350mAh. I usually run a 50g motor and 3 or 4 9g servos. I would guess with the 38" Slick you'd be at around 15oz-17oz tops with similar stuff. The 40" Sbach in my signature weighs less than 15oz with 850mAh 3S batteries. I'm sure the RC Factory planes will weigh more than the Slick because of its thicker fuse and full airfoil.

No problem, thanks for the business! The 3DHS Slick looks like a good one.

Neat

I'm a little surprised, though...do you guys not have any bracing or reinforcement for the elevator?

I was noticing that, too. Need twice the motor just to pull all that bracing along, lol.
