Gotta get used to it first i guess
After flying it a few dozen times and adjusting the battery around I have found proper CG to be the key. If the model is twitchy in hover, move the battery back about 1/4" at a time until level flight at 50% throttle is achieved both upright and inverted. This model doesn't fly very well if it's nose heavy.

The coupling in KE is most likely a byproduct of a bad thrust angle in the motor. This wasn't covered in the instructions and can vary depending on how the foam block in the nose is glued in. Your model most likely has a small amount of down thrust that is causing coupling to the gear (if it flies like mine did at first). Fly your model straight up full power hands off and see where it goes. If it goes straight up then your thrust angles are correct, if not then they need to be adjusted. This is assuming you have trimmed it for level/straight flight as mentioned above.

Is this the newest EPP from 3DHS out?

I been outta EPP planes for the past year now, and wanted to buy another one , instead of using the SIM

I'll be flying out doors all the time, no In-door gym's around here

Anyone have a good starting point for outdoor flying, motor etc?

I looked up the hacker, but man, $99.00 for the Motor/ESC ?

So I'm assuming you have about $350.00 into it RTF ?

What can I expect for the build time? I've flown 3DHS 72" Slicks, 59" , & 51" Slicks, and can build a 51" in about 4 hours

What can I expect on the foamie ?

I've never build an EPP before. I just started looking over the manual and am watching the 33" build videos now. I'd say it'll take me about 8hrs over a couple days. But no worries, it'll be a great throw in the trunk fly anywhere plane when it's done!

glue and building

Just got my EPP and starting the build. I'm starting to run out of Welders. Only got 1 tube thinking it would be good. Missed the part about 1.5 tubes in the manual.

Would LePage Stik'n Seal work? I can't locate Welder's locally here in Canada. I've heard it's almost the same. All hinges and main wing carbon and elevator are done with welders. I would have enough to put the bottom fuselage and maybe top. Anyone else use LePage?
