Alternate Brushed motors for PKZ Micros

I would like to improve the performance on my UM-T28 Trojan and Sukhoi 26XP. Going to try Hyperions 160 mah and GWS 5043 props. Need a new motor soon and would like to go for an alternate brushed motor.

I'm aware of these three motors so far:

Solo Pro ->http://www.hobby-wing.com/ne4902002.html
Bravo SX ->http://www.clubheli.com/Bravo-SX-Main-Motor_p_2858.html
BMSR -> http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=EFLH3003

There are no specs for any of these motors and they are are heli motors.
The motors for the UM-P51 and Sukhoi 26XP have different part numbers but some people claim that these are the same motors.

Can we start a discussion here.
Anyone with experience with any of these motors or other alternates, please give us your pros and cons.
Is going brushless a better option?

All of that is pretty much covered in the Micro RTF forum.

Solo and Bravo here:

One of several brushless conversion threads here:

etc., etc., etc.

Brushless will get you far better performance but I see those motors are much smaller than these 12mm ones.

It sounds that both of the Nine Eagles motor require some work to be able to use the stock pinion.

The Solo Pro motor does not seem to improve the power. I'm not so sure I would swap yet.

Is the Bravo motor more powerful?

I was hopping someone would comment on BMSR motor since it is made by Eflite.

It would be nice to get some specs.

DX5e fatal flaw- PM me!!!!
The solo pro has a little more power, the swap to that is mainly for the (much!) improved longevity of the motor.

I have used the UM-P51 and the 26-XP motors in my UM T28, they are the same as the T28 stocker except for wire length, no extra power and no better longevity.
