I have three motors I was thinking of trying.
Initially I was going to use a 3536-1250kv motor, then I thought about the Turnigy 2835 2700kv inrunner. Now I am leaning towards the motor I just got in the mail, an NTM 28-36 2200kv from Hobby King. Guess I will wait and see but I think the NYM looks promising with a 6x5.5. |

I got the maiden flight on my CW today. Suppose it flew like many others with no real problems. After dialing in some expo the second flight was real groovy.
My buddy had his CW out too. His has quite a few flights already and was the inspiration for mine and another fellow that is still building his. |

We all have a different threshold for speed.
For me, with the flying area that I'm in, it's just right and manageable. At the local club, I'm sure I'd be craving the extra speed as well. |

I got my Cosmic Wind put together, just waiting for a good day for the maiden. I thought I would get a chance today but it's too windy, 15mph with 25 mph gusts. I can't wait to get her in the air and see what she can do!

I've got a Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 3530-1340kv motor, ZIPPY 1800mAh 3S 40C and for the maiden flight it's got a 9x6 prop on it. AUW is a shade over 30 ounces. I have an 8x8 prop for it also but I wanted to start with the 9x6, that's the prop that Ecalc seemed to like the best.
