Mexico still waiting for answers on Fast and Furious gun program

Good work...scores dead, firearms intentionally sold to criminals, US and Mexican authorities being killed by people with the illegal firearms....

Last fall's slaying of Mario Gonzalez, the brother of a Mexican state prosecutor, shocked people on both sides of the border. Sensational news reports revealed that cartel hit men had tortured Gonzalez, and forced him to make a videotaped "confession" that his high-powered sister was on the take.

But American authorities concealed one disturbing fact about the case from their Mexican counterparts: U.S. federal agents had allowed AK-47 assault rifles later found in the killers' arsenal to be smuggled across the border under the notorious Fast and Furious gun-trafficking program.
Federal Agency complicit in gun trafficking and murders

I would hope that Eric Holder and Co. would move on this faster than the 911 Terrorist Trials in NY boondoggle.

Frankly, I could care less what the Mexican government is waiting on. Maybe when they stop their citizens from entering my country illegally I may care, maybe, but certainly not before.

How many murders and deaths in this country have been caused by illegal immigrants from south of the border?

I agree. It just looks rediculous on many levels. I could give two about the mexican govt. was well. It just shows the total lack of professionalism and leadership with the Obammy regime.

... live from the war zone
this Fast and Furious is like throwing gas on a fire. Just what the situation requires..more firearms for the opposition. Doesn't take a genius to see this was going to bite us in the butt.

This was not supposed to turn out this way..

The agent who blew the whistle... lived long enough to talk to Fox, and now the BATF can't send him through the door first in some suicide raid.

The gun store owner recorded his dealings with the BATF and got himself to Fox before .. a staged raid by pretend cartel death squads could kill him.

This is going to bring down the Govt. This is the Waco shootout that didn't get a chance to start shooting. This time around the people involved will talk.

The American people were not capable of believing their govt would do something like Waco.. back then, 20 years ago.

I believe they are now.

This whole thing was staged to draw attention to bad guns being sold to bad people.. Maybe it was going to be the centerpiece of his 2012 campaign.

We need new laws to protect the people from guns that the US govt hands out to Mexican drug lords.. 2000 free machine guns!!!

the smugglers aren't stupid...we're dealing with motivated professionals. These show like Border Wars is sort of like watching "World's Dumbest"...

The only thing that has changed is, it's gotten more armed down here.
Arizona has pretty liberal gun laws [isn't that an oxymoron?].

regards,
Bill
