Those with no osd would like to see 400ft agl on a few setups

Id like to get the feel for what compliant altitude looks like, could some of you please post a picture or a vid of consistent osd measured 400ft agl so I can see what a few cars or something would look like at that level? In that one thread where trappy was talking about max distance at 400ft the ups and downs were too much in the vid, plus no osd to state when it was at 400 I know you have some thanks

How things look from 400ft AGL is going to vary somewhat.... depending on the camera lens.

The view is very different when comparing a 2.8mm lens to a 3.6 or 4.0mm lens.

The wider angle lens such as 2.8mm will make everything appear farther away.

(objects in mirror are closer than they appear)

I know but with just a few posts Id have an idea. chances are Im using the same res that would be shown in just a few pics, lemme see what ya'll have anyway. stills are just fine, anything at 400, maybe with some comparables it will be at least an educated guess.

Wizzard, how tall is the fmx radio tower would you guess? thats a nice starting point anyway...

Go to the "above the clouds" thread. There are few in there at 8,000' then divide by 20.
