I have a Spektrum DX8 with the TM1000 Telemetry module. It has a port for both voltage and temperature, that you can plug either one of those into, or you can use the included Y-harness to attach both at the same time.

The Temperature sensor works when directly plugged in to the TM1000, and in both plugs of the Y-harness.

The Voltage sensor only works when it's plugged directly into the TM1000, and doesn't work when plugged alone in to one of the Y-harness plugs, or along with the temperature sensor.

Does anyone know why the voltage sensor won't work in the Y-harness?

Seems like your Y harness is wired wrong..

If you pay attention the the temps and voltage sensor connector you will notice that they both share one wire connection but heat sensor uses one end wire while the voltage sensor uses the other end wire.

If both sensors work directly in the TM unit then you know both unit and sensors work. If you connect the heat sensor in both ends of the Y harness then all you are doing is confirming that that side of the Y works.

If the voltage sensor stops working when you connect in the Y harness then the Y harness as issues OR you are not connecting it properly.

Good point. It seems like the voltage-specific wire in my Y-harness might not be working. The connectors are such that you can't plug them in the wrong way, so this seems to be the only possibility.

Looks like my Y-harness is defective. The red wire doesn't have continuity to either side of the Y.

Cut away heatshrink and fix it. Should be fairly simple.
