Hello Greg.
Are screws included to attach the black plastic "backplate" (One that plugs into the mounting stick) to the motor? The ones included with the Suppo motor are too short. (Or I'm retarded, not sure which)

Countersink the plastic disk for the flat head screws. Them use removable loctite on the screws to keep them from backing out in flight.

Yes you are correct ... now you know our fax number too ... sorry I blasted my ears out with that fax tone as well. The correct number as stated above is 855-359-9673 ... small print and bad eyes got the fax number by mistake.

Greg,
Do I drill out the holes in the little metal clevises on the servo arms that the CF rod goes through? It seems a little small...

It's ok, I just drilled them out a tiny bit. All is well...

I believe that is what the 4 extra pieces of piano wire with no z-bend are for. Get things mounted up, cut the carbon control rods a bit short, and then wrap/glue the unbend wire to the end. Then they slide right in with no problem.

This is my plan anyway if my HobbyKing shipment ever arrives. Last tracking had it leaving Switzerland on the 6th of December, today is the 16th. Not a good sign...

Thanks Reaper.
You know, I wondered what those unbent pieces were for. I ended up running a drill bit through the holes, just ever-so-slightly enlarging them, and the CF rods fit great. I feel kind of silly here, cause I've been assembling GS ARF's for the past 3 years, and when it comes to foamies I have all these questions... And BTW, this one's for Greg again. A 4 channel receiver is what I'll need for this, correct?

Hi Phil,

A 4 channel will work fine with a Y harness for the ailerons. I've been using the little AR-6110e 6 channel receiver in my XL.

You should be fine with your pushrods as you have them. I think bdiesel3 has his this way and it's been working great.
