That's just a beautiful glider... I'd love to build one once it's refined and kitted.

We're getting very close to the end of this project. Left to do... Install control rods, fit and hook up spoilers, balance, reinstall tow hook... and FLY!!!

Here are a few pics of the final trim...

It's good to see the model finally made it inside from the garage.

I ain't terribly fond of green on a sailplane, but that's one fine looking machine Jack. Nice work!

WOW! Beautiful, Jack! You did an excellent job as usual in a very timely fashion, can't wait to hear the maiden report. I believe you've set a building standard for this new design...

I've always heard you can cover a golf ball with Monokote, Jack can cover a BB .

Thanks, Gents, for all the kind words... All of the above list is completed. She weighs in at 29.4 oz. and balances at the aft edge of the spar with no added weight... I will probably move the receiver back and move the battery back to adjust my CG aft some.

The next report will be a flight report...

As promised, here are the pics of the final spoiler hookup...

We're forecast with bbbbbbbllliiizzzzzaaaarrrrdddd warnings for Monday and Tuesday... and we're leaving for San Antonio on Thursday, so it will probably be shorly after Christmas before maiden... but with 2000 mah in the airborne pack, I'll be attempting a 3-hour+ flight on New Year's Day...

Gold trim looks really sharp with green and cream. Great job. It was a fun build log to watch and read.

Jack,

How do you disconnect the spoiler control? Do you loosen the allen cap screws and take out the cables every time?
