Just finished mine up. No pics of it completed, but here's in process. Haven't flown it yet, but hopefully before E-Fest so I can get it working decent before hand.

RTF with a 2s 325mAh 65C Thunder Power pack its sitting at about 4.8oz or 136g. Figure that if I fly it and its too light, I can add some weight by stiffening it up a bit more with more carbon, pretty stiff as is. With a 9L it should have plenty of power and speed. I'll see if I can post a completed picture later tonight.

Thanks to Devin and RJ for the help on the new-style bracing they are doing on their ETOC stuff. Anxious to see the aileron responsiveness now.

Looks good Seth!

Very helpful to the rest of us working on building this plane.

What E-Fest events are you flying in?

If you don't mind, I'll introduce myself after you fly - always nice to meet fellow pilots from the forums.

Thank you guys for kind comments! Sorry im bit late with answers here i have my exams session in college. Nice to see so many good pilots building Arrow's. Seth you will see aileron bracing help allot. I would recommend putting two JR290g on ailerons and connect them to 2S directly. In this case ailerons fell really nice. About the weight, to light is not so good, as i mention Arrow fly good at about 150-170g range.

Also please send me your email, i have some questions about XFC.

One more good news. Milled Arrow kits will be available very soon, they reach Autopartner.se already!

Check with Dave Lockhart.

I believe he was expecting to have milled kits a couple weeks ago.

Hi Devin,
what is your reason for not using thrust vectoring?

thanks

I didnt do thrust vectoring because this is my first Arrow and I want to fly it without it to get a good feel for how true the airframe performs.

I tested out the Arrow yesterday put about 15 flights on it. It flys very well but I do see how the airframe would be happier at the heavier weight. Mine came in at 151g and I wouldn't want it any lighter. I would however explore the idea of milled light arrow for a hard sequence in a tight space

Well mine is done and I'd love to say it flew yesterday, however my CC9 esc isn't playing ball and keeps cutting out so it's going back...

Connor,

You are running the 2203 race correct? Which prop are you using?

Andy,

I recently did a static test of the 2203 RACE on a Phx 10 with TP 325 65C and GWS 8x4.3 SF. Amps are VERY high.....15+. Power of course is very good I know Donatas limits his throttle curve to tame the amps down a bit.

Regards,

Dave
