"Hope" Fizzled Out... But Here's the "Change"

Forget anything more about Hope because all Hope is gone.

But here's a listing of the "Change" in the first 2-1/2 years after Obama and the Democrats got their way:

I suppose the Democrats are real proud of what they and their anointed one have done to this country. I suppose they will still try to blame all this on Bush. I'll agree Bush deserves part of the blame, but obammy has carried it to the extreme.

What would a complete tax holiday for one year do for creating jobs?

Take the year when there is no tax collected and scrap the tax code and come up with a sales tax. The next year, everyone pays the same percentage. If you dont buy much, then you dont pay much. If you use more, you pay more. Dont tax income, tax consumption. How hard would it be to do that?

The rich would never go for it, 'cause they'll lose their ability to purchase politicians and write their own tax laws.

The Federal government and by default our representatives are by and large purchased by the highest bidder.

Just like we'll never see a strictly enforced fair tax percentage, we'll also never see the end of bribery (lobbying.)

Very little. You cannot build a business on the basis of a one year tax plan. The ever changing (and threat of changing) tax laws is the problem that needs to be fixed.

Simple, flat, predictable and low need to be the cornerstones of US tax policy. Both business and individual.

But, but, that would take common sense..and since common sense cannot be defined or regulated, then our chances of getting a fair and simple tax code implemented, and to get rid of the gamers is....

Me too, but when I reflected on the damage he's done to so many people, I got over it and no longer feel bad for him.
