Pioneer Frame

Hi Guys,
Ok The frame is re-glued also beefed up the firewall, now ready to install
I also added a small wheel to the tail skid.
This glider is very light, the fuselage with motor is 17.02oz. The wings are
9.oz. with servos each, so (total so far is 36 oz). !!! So "no problem" slowing down
on landing

I also made the fin removeable with some very strong Magnets! Now looking for a spinner.

Well ...I'm Scared now !! I just opened the box from NP of the yellow version..and she LOOKS cool....but after reading this ..not so sure about building her.maybe should sell sell sell. if she wont fly out of the box without MAJOR calculations that should have already been worked out by the manuf./designers.

Just to bolster your confidence a bit, here's video proof it can be done:

I have my wings done now, I had a servo go bad after install and had to dig it out.

While smoothing the ends of the Center Wing connector tube I noticed
that it changed color when I rounded the edges.
Like from the BLACK original to White.

I suspect that we are in possession of a BLACK COLORED Fibergrass Spar !

Not that I think it will make a difference.

Just a dent in the perception , sigh .....

New Red and White Pioneer

Hi Guys,
I deceided to change to look of mine so here it is. Also I added some balsa to the top of the Fin, as I did not like the way they did it. Have to finish installing the servos, covers and find the CG

Thats a good thing! Well I just finished up all I needed to do to get this wing up in the Air!! All tested out DSM2 Ready to fly now!! If you need any help or questions just ask!
Just wish I knew for sure where the CG needs to be! Not some half ass idea but a good
side view drawing!

Hi Guys,
OK with the battery in where I think it should be, its wing level at "35mm" (back) from the leading edge of the wing. I think that should work! Only one way to find out! Throw it!!
There drawing shows 40mm back from the leadng edge., so I think some one, like me is just going to give it a try!! its the only way we are going to find out for sure!

Got my motor from Hparts and wouldnt ya know

The Prop adapter as NOT drilled to match the motor.
YOU CAN SEE the problem just by looking at it.
One screw in and ALL the other wont hit the holes !!!
