cockpit, tailerons, landinggear position

Positions for bulkheads and axels:
15/16 frontgear
25/26 main retract
34/35 taileron axle

in 24 = 5mm carbon for wing
28/29 10mm carbon tube for wing

For details i use a "Revell" model in 1:32

Are you going to glue the wings on or make them removableŋ

I'm new to this "tetris" build thang....
So, you get all those pre-cut foam pieces, stick them together, then glass it all?
If so, whats the advantage of all those pieces over say a full foam plane from Je Pe say?

Hi Hixxer,

have JePe a 2,1m long MiG?? Or a 1,8m long Su27?? Or a 1,7m Saab 105??

With this "Tetris-style" you can make very special and lite models!

@Mikael: wing and rudders i make removeable!

Here is my last "Tetris" Saab105:
Saab 105 "Tetris" im Rosental (5 min 23 sec)

The special taileron!!

Hi,
the last days i make the tailerons... not so easy, but i think - now they are good!

I use 8mm rotorshafts form ALIGN for a heli as axle for the tailerons. Fix it in 30x15mm hardwoodblock 45° backward and also with a little bit "hanging down" (donīt know the exact words in english, sorry)

I use 11kg servo.

Oh man, my english today is very lousy...

Look at the pictures, they are the same in any language...

Regards,
George

Is that the correct angle for the taileron shafts?
Looks like the tailerons are going to hit the fuselage.

Thatīs must be the correct angle

Hi Mikael,

i think a lot about the angels, and this must be the correct way!
All other solutions makes no sense to me...

That question got me interested, and I looked at various videos. Yes, your angle looks correct. When the elevator pivots, the middle of its tip remains motionless, so the axis goes through it.

Sergey.
