Connecting two batteries with a Y harness will..

double the capacity or voltage?
For example, I connect 2 3s 2200mah batteries with a y harness, will it become a 6s 2200mah or will it become a 3s 4400mah?

Connecting two batteries

It depends upon the harness you use?
Series connection is positive terminal from one battery to negative terminal on the other battery. This would be 6S, 2200 mah.

Parallel connection is both positive battery terminals are connected together and both negative battery terminals are connected together.
This would be 3S, 4400 mah.
