HongKong EMS and Singapore SpeedPost?

I put in two orders within the past week - one for me, and one for a friend. They were ordered within two days from each other and are destined to the same address. HK shipped both orders in the same day, but I'm confused: my shipment is handled by the usual HongKong EMS, but the other is handled by the Singapore Speedpost.

What is going on? I need these orders shipped by Tuesday morning, and luckily mine (the one handled by HK EMS) has already arrived, but the Singapore Post is taking forever to get it to Korea (where my dad is picking them up to bring back to Indonesia), as the tracking system is still reading "Processing at Air Transit station", 3 days after posting.

Stuff inside the SingPost parcel:
HK Tuff Trainer
LiPO Charger
LiPO Batteries (3x Turnigy 1300mAh 3S 30C)
HK Tx and Rx Set

Did they both contain lipos?

The shipping method is selected by the buyer. Are you sure you selected EMS for both?
EMS uses local shipping companies. In the US, the USPS delivers EMS shipped items.

The tracking info is usually way behind the package.

No, the one already delivered does not contain Lipos.
I selected EMS for both orders.
At least I'm seeing progress - at 14:14, the package was handed over to the airline.... it's about darn time!

It's the Lipos in the order....

Hong Kong Post will not accept lipos for delivery.

So they get sent by airfreight/seafreight together with a bunch of other parcels to Singapore, whose postal service will accept Lipo for delivery.

Well, so much for resurrecting an old thread.

I put in another order several days ago with 4 Nano-tech 1300 3S1Ps and 3 Nano-tech 2200 3S1Ps, and as you said, it's being shipped via Singapore Speedpost. So it is pretty much the LiPOs that must get handed over to Singapore.

This time, I made the order so that I have a two-month delivery margin, so if Speedpost decides to take forever again, no worries.
