If you need some there is info on how to special order it from Home Depot on the SPAD site. I believe I left it as a sticky so it will be at the top of the Tools and supply s section. You do have to buy 6 sticks at a time that way, but it lasts a good long time and it is the lighter canadian version. There is also a link in the same thread to a company in South Carolina I believe that will sell you the American version that is a tad heavier. I think you can order just one stick at a time there but they have to cut it down to ship it too you so think of the size of fuse you want for blanks.

J, there is a DoItBest store in your town. You can get downspout there: I think most of their stores stock that but if not, they'll order it in for you. If you're building stock planes off the STTB site you might prefer regular gutter pipe for ease of construction but once you get going, it's lighter and more durable to build everything, including your fuses, out of coro.

DoitBest stores will get you the Heavier American gutterpipe. Generally, the Canadian gutterpipe fits inside the American Gutterpipe so if you want to make a hatch for your plane you do do so by cutting it out of American and bolting it on the outside of the Canadian.

But folded fuses is lighter.

Yeah, I guess so. We have a store called Marvin's here but they're only in the DEEP south and they carry the Canadian. I really don't like the Canadian because at 2 1/4 my fuel tanks don't fit in there as well and it's too flimsy for my tastes for attaching servos to it with the tape and zip tie method. I also don't like the way the vertical wobbles back and forth attached to it. PLUS, control horns cut out of CDN feel to flimsy to me. ANYway..... Maybe J just wanted it because it was free.
