Just finished up rebuilding #2 with a new frame and tail boom and even put my first set of new main blades on & new canopy. Looks like a new one. Number 1 new frame a while back. Switched #2 to 3 axis before rebuild & finally got it under control indoor fling with a TX2603. My Son started this 3 axis project when I bought him a Devo8 GCP combo & his flew great out of the box in 3 axis. Devo TX is still smother on his than my 2603 but I got mine doing pretty good but got to be easier on ELV & AIL stick input. Canít test new rebuild wife having trouble getting 20 month daughter a sleep. Son 24 years old & Iím 52. She just got her settled down have to wait 5 minutes before I can test fly.

Well I am in a pickle, seems they didn't cancel my brushless order and the conversion will not work with the 200 batteries and I have 4 240 batteries on the way so It looks like I may have 2 slightly used batteries and 4 new batteries for sale soon.

That's precisely what I do.

It's some 10 second rule or something.

Sure I read it in one of my Chinglish Walkera manuals.

Does it look like the maingears are interchangeable? looks like the same pitch just twice as thick.

Also, It looks liek the new battrey cage should accommodate longer cells than the Gcp's but is it any wider and taller inside as well?

Wondering how much effect does wearing out blade holder rubber rings effect flight. When I rebuilt #1 GCP yesterday I noticed some of the rubber like sticking out on one side. Just recently bought my Son a new GCP & in 3axis his flew very nice. Mine seems like in 3axis elevator is more touchy have to be real smooth on stick input.

I got a double brushless on its way, you say it wont take the 240 hyperions?

When everything arrives, I will have 6 200mah batteries, 6 240s, and 4 350s... and 2 geniuses. I think im going to run the 200 mah hard while I learn to fly properly, 350's are for when I convert one to brushless. I guess the 240s are gonna have to be for the brushed ones after i destroy the 200mah ones.

I wonder how well the 200s will do charging at C3, I don't really care if I kill then early as long as they don't catch fire.

From what I gathered from the forum is the 200 maybe a minute with low power, but they are using the hyperions 240 for the BL and getting over 3 minutes good power.
At 3c probably be OK but won't get a full charge.

I think it has to do with the double brushless and not the C5 brushless. Apples and oranges kinda thing. lol!

That pic from ehirobo is the best I have seen of the mini. Now I can see there is room for a brushless. All the other pics looked like the motor was stuck right in the middle of the servos.

Getting back to the Genius, does anyone know where to get extra mounting tape for the pc board?
