The original ...............

This design is not quite the Art Deco but more modernistic or Star Warsy.
regardless, I like that one Too ! I 've been working on an original design for the X-wing. Initially I "was" not been able to find much about the X-wing , so I started designing one on my own. Then, as you might expect, I did find another attempt or two . I haven't done any internal planning, yet. But, I was thining that a hatch on the bottom would allow for an 1800mah sized pak to be inserted. For a flying wing like affair, as this is, I would expect to start with the CG at or near the LE. There is clearance for a 6" dia prop. I could scale things UP a tad or just "loose" the engine aft parts. The FINS are intended to be Clear and "invisible". That idea was borrowed from a UK design. So, my question is, what do you guys think about my effort ? Best Bob PS Thank again, Les ! |

I liked the original in that the special effects were very special. The sparks from the exhaust fell straight down and the smoke raised straight up.
And the sound effects were great too. It sounded just like a worn out hair trimmer. Although, did they have electric hair trimmers in 1928? |

goldguy,
Right you are. Those were some creative and now funnny futuristic B&W films back then. Not all that different from GPW's Albitros. Did you "photo shop " in those Servos and the Pusher motor ? Or is that a REAL design ? If so ... Info please ;>} I've only found htis one by searching for" T65 " https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...ng-Starfighter |
