Sealed lead acid batteries require lower charging current and voltage limiting to avoid gas build up than non-sealed designs. Charge it, then use a trickle charger for a day or two per month. If possible, store and charge your sealed battery in a cool location. Not freezing, just cool.

Check the open circuit voltage (OCV) monthly. Charge the battery, wait a day, then check the OCV. It should be very close to 13V, anything less than about 12.9V is a bad sign. Bruce's new charger is able to reverse some damage and increase OCV.
