Robert said they're running test and hoping the new will be out by August. They hold some punch from what I saw. He ran them that day.

We'll be selling them around August or Oct. If you don't run mod theres no need to purchase them. They'll only provide x amount of punch for so long then stay at normal charging/peak for so long. Run times seems to be the same. Not a huge difference but enough to tell in take off. Most who've seen my kart could tell a difference but only in punch/take off.

He is, I have no idea who he is but your more than welcome as we tell everyone, buy where ever you like but don't come crying to me if something needs adjusting or in this case, matching, charging or cycling these cells. We'll only do our and thats it.

At the races do we need a 12v car battery or is there electric?

Most including myself bring a auto or deep cell 12 volt battery for safety measures.

Grab you one at Walmarts there the cheapest. You don't need one that cost you a arm and a leg.

I went today and picked one up. Not bad it set me back 89.00 dollars plus some core charge.

Sounds about right mine was around the same. If you have a old car battery sitting around you can get your core charge back if you take it in. I want to say it was $10.00 I got back?

I started thinking Cakeman does the cranking amps on this battery matter?

Not sure if you and Cake talked but cranking amps won't matter. I will say I use a deep cell marine battery as it seems to last longer than the traditional car battery. Most of the time electric is supplied but like everyone else I to bring one along for back up.
