Static Model Collector LOL
I ordered a MEGA outrunner for a friend, this one has the 5mm shaft exiting from both sides of the case, which would allow for various mounting options, this motor has a nice robust feel to it, should have ordered 2 of them

Hopefully we will get some in-flight data this weekend, I post some teaser pics later

Have Fun

That's a tough place to fly with all the light poles. Great landings. I wish I could get rid of the bounce.

I need lots of nose weight to get rid of it (4s 4500 nano tech) and it still does it in a strong head wind. I know it's kind of taboo, but I think it might almost be better to bring her in with the wind, instead of against. Little more finesse req'd, but if the landings are smoother...
That said, I'll allow loooots of runway. It's still a beast.

I just don't like how it flys with the battery pushed forward. I don't like to shove the stick all the way forward when I go inverted. It feels well balanced with a 3300 4s setting with the front edge of the fuse(where the nose cone attaches). I think they put the mains too far forward.

If you can fit and CG (4) packs, then you can wire each pair in parallel.
Cut away a little foam if needed.

6S2P-4400

I would raise the cutoff voltage a little or reduce the flight duration(adjust timer on trans)....and readjust as needed to ensure none of the packs need to take in more than 80% during the subsequent charge process.
80% of 2200 mAH = 1760 mAH.

Make sure the packs are freshly charged before making the parallel connections.

Hey, 3 great landings today. I slowed it down as slow as I could get it and flared hard. Once on the deck I pushed forward a bit to keep the nose down. Seems to work!

Horizon has this plane on sale right now. $219 for the pnf and $279 bnf

I was all cranked up about putting in my Xmas order for this one, since I even found a supplier with a $202. price tag.

But extensive reading of this thread has killed my enthusiasm for this product...too bad because it sure is a looker..!

It would appear that there is good reason for the heavily discounted price.

Once more, RCG threads have been very helpfull..!

I hand launch my Stryker all the time like that with no problem. But all it takes is a gust of wind or a bad day and you have a $300 pile of foam. I bet if he had messed up, we would have never seen the video.

Anyone else notice how the left wing flexes in that video between 3-4 sec

It's funny that you should say this. I actually posted my maiden flight of this plane, and it was not at all pretty.
