Yes, yes I am.

I see that this plane uses the same servos as the troubled Carbon Z Yak 54 which had numerous reports of crashes because of these servos failing.

Has this been addressed?

Looks awesome, and definitely a unique plane. Wonder why it wasn't designed with 2 axis thrust vectoring though.

Figuring out the cost in my mind through, $320 for a PNP(have plenty of lipos and a spare RX), $120 for retracts, and $100 for 4 x HS-85MGs $540 is kinda steep for a reliable PNP with retracts, although if it flies well, might be worth it. Out of the 2 dozen or so EFLR7140s and DSV130M(all failures on servos made within a year, the same servos from older models have held up without a problem)s that came with my planes, I've had about 8 fail, and cause 2 crashes, one was a total loss of a CZ Yak, I don't trust them at all, hopefully the larger 7145 mini servo this has doesn't have that problem, and I'll risk the servo on the nosewheel.

anyway,

It's neat, but too rich for my blood in it's current state. I'd happily plunk down $120 for an airframe only option though. Namely because I can't comment on e-flight/Parkzone servo quality once you move up to these applications, but I have had an excellent service record with Hitec servos. In this price rage, I'd prefer to "go with what I know." Same applies to motors, ESCs, and retracts.

I'd also personally delete the TV on mine, as that feature sits outside my skill level. (Bet you could pull some crazy knife edges though)

as an aside, to me it looks great from every angle but one: side profile.

Those under-wing rudder...things, look out of place. I think if they matched the taper of the top rudder, they'd look less gawky.

But why add a switch for that? neither PZ or E-flite has done that in the past.

The new E-Flite ESCs come with that ON/OFF switch pre-soldered. So they just moved it to the side for easy access.

Dude I totally agree! Those fins on the bottom are enormous and damn ugly. They must be extremely important for flight characteristics because otherwise they just make the plane look really ugly from that angle. I always assumed these bottom fins on the Stryker were just designed for protection on landings. But if you are going to be using the landing gear on this plane, maybe you can cut them down a little bit to make it look better...unless they are designed for flight characteristics.

I'd say they are Designed for drag(SFG) They have to be at that size. They incorporated quite abit from the SQ. If they were cut in half and was attached too the landing gear main arm would of looked cool.
Then when LG is up, act as a cover!!
They'll soon have some Vid's i would imagine. Is this the only Thread around on this Plane?

Chucky does it again...
Well be interesting to see some videos for sure.

slyfoxflyer66 the 40A esc comes with a On/Off Switch

The 60 amp E-flite come with an on/off switch that's what you see. It's just molded into the foam.

I really like this one. The Q will be for warm up on 3s and this one will be for wild 4 or even 5s. It's a definite must have for me.

Static Model Collector LOL
A local friend has thrust vectoring on his stryker 27C, he made a custom mount, and the motor moves from center and goes either up or down, let's just say it does some wild flips.

+1 here mate. Nice bird but too rich for me, even more so in 's, unless it's twice as good as the Q (which I doubt)
