I have an older Nosram X11 13.5T which I will mount, with an older SP LPF1.1 ESC, so I will mount these for practice...

Hello guys.

After some of your "hot tips " formalizes the engine for the World Cup 2012 will be:

****** Speed Passion 13.5R Competition Series 3.0 MMM ******

With the opportunity to point out the Italian official website of the seller and is already available motor and ESC

The importer will be present as support directly on the track and on the occasion of the warm-up (date to be decided) is clearly to the world.

For any information please contact him directly via email.

I hope that my decision is shared by everyone, although I think we would have fewer problems with the Sportman.

It remains to decide whether we want to keep the tires 200, or cut slicks.

It makes no differance to me..but IF you have found problems with cuts?..surely we should use slicks?

Problems of high wear after only 4 lipo in the front, maybe you could remedy the problem punched cut 1 set of 200 + 1set front .... can cut them a good solution?

Ciao Andrea,

I did not notice before, but the MMM has fully adjustable timing

http://lnx.faboweb.it/store/index.ph...oducts_id=3434

So use a stock ESC without turbo, then it make no sense.

With free gearing, with free timing ... I expect again lot of egg cooking on stock class.

But yes ... the egg cooking is equal for everybody

ps: I know I'm speaking about rubber band power, and how to land a TT on the moon

I know, and I know the differences.

Still the MMM needs option parts for extra timing advance setting(off shelf is only 10-20) ... additional money for who want to squeeze every Watt out of this motor.

Anyhow ... only for this the decision to go for Sport motor would have been by far better.

BTW, rules have been decided already, and it is mainly your "game" not mine, I am just here for make "noise"

D.Saluti

ps: I'm till trying the moon landing of my TT with a gummy band power ... but I have already a clown mask in case I will fail ... so I'm compliant with the Edi's rules

Ciao Andrea!

Will the SP distributor have these at the October race, at the track?
So I can buy, on the spot, in case I come...
I have started a sponsorship fund -which Mrs Wife loved- and I am at 90% to come to the October GP! My friends at two LHS's have helped. One of them is an avid biker (I am trying to convince him about rc bikes, too!), and the other one is my local Lostallo-Copy track owner!
I have not yet listed myself on the inscription list, because there is always that 10% that may not let me come. I will know for sure before the end of the month, though.

This time, I will take a plane to Malpensa/Milano, then drive a rental to Riccione. Any other airport, closer to the track is a lot of hours and more money to be spent. I could go to Roma, but it's another 100km further from the track...

So... Air ticket, car rental, fuel and tolls add up to about 100 euros LESS than the ferry crossing and driving my bike to the track!
So, I have a plan to arrive on Thursday afternoon at the track, and leave VERY early on Monday morning (maybe 4am!) to catch the 11 am plane back home! It's 360 km's to Malpensa... easy, right?!
