I have the exact same heli as jan, except i went with a 500kv hyperion instead of unknown brand you sold. im glad i did, because look what happened to the first motor you gave jan! Jan, here is the link to robcon rc on face book, http://www.facebook.com/RobconScaleAircraft and this is where i got the core basics for my cockpit layout from, http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater as i ordered their apache cockpit panels 3 months ago now and ive not heard back from them, so i just went ahead and built my own and will wait until they have made them. the build log for the blackhawk is here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...5#post22023475 just waiting for the body kit to arrive now so i can get the mechanics installed into the new side frames and start testing. great knowing EXACTLY what needs to be done, and in which order now. knowledge is king! |

Hi Jay,
I keep a close look on your Blackhawk post The cockpit looks nice if it was packed alright I have ordered last year the TF black blades (in my case they just doing well if you stay below 1300 rpm) They came from RC Aerodyne and were put in a box without anything and send from the US to Holland, when they arrive the blades almost coming trough the box, but still in good shape. so I was lucky. They have sometimes really good deals but those deals are not for customers from Europe Regards, Jan, |

Hi,
I have painted my blades more scale wise, Then the start up was a bit annoying till the blades come in rest. So I have fixed the main gear to the fuselage now, Now with spooling up it's all right Then some photo's of the crowded area under the cockpit base. Regards, Jan, |

blades look great jan!
haha i giggle at the apache interior. real estate is at such a premium, when im getting ready to fly her and people are watching, they looked so confused with all the wires. mine looks exactly the same. haha. nice work! ive cut my tail rotor blades down and flown them this weekend. my tail is now locked perfectly with no wind, but when theres a breeze, even a slight one, the windage from the fuse pushes to tail around slightly. i guess thats to be expected. much happier now. |

Hello,
Well I did it, I have made a cockpit First I needed a layout and found a manual of the Apache and used it, Than loaded it in Paint and edit the numbers and some color, Then getting the scaling right so it will fit my panels, The cockpit, I have painted the faces of the hobby king pilots, The right one just got to know that I'm the pilot Will be continued, Jan, |

Hi,
Its just paper but looks nice, Then I discovered that the pilots where sitting to low so to get them up I added legs (sort off) to them but sitting in the cockpit it looks not bad at all. Almost ready, Remember its fun scale.... And a overview, Regards, Jan, |

it is depend on market require , ansd need to do a little reach how it market .because the mold cost is not cheap . and after we do the blades products we must keep many stock to match the weight , for example , you order me 50 set rotor blades ., we at least do 80-90 piece for your order . why ? rotor blades products is need the quantity to choice the good match for a pair or a set . the most diffcult is 5 piece set , we need 20-25 piece to match 1 set for 5 blades order , because we are set the standrad +/- 0.25g different only
so the rotor blades business is very hard , but it is not a part of my business , earn or lost is not so big problem . we just want to let you more choice and flying happy . so i think i will do it 500 size soon . planning in August ! |

Hi Rotor heads,
I did change my magnets holding the top hatch for real bigger ones and I do use now two magnets locking each other. The two magnets in the fuselage, The two in the hatch, Its holding really strong now and I do not need to screw something every time I changed the battery's. I have made a lid in front of the cockpit what holds itself under the front cockpit opening in the fuselage, So its locked at the front and holding with the top hatch, Then I ad the cable cutters at the cockpit, IR etc, and the main landing gear. The Gun will be getting a overall also, but that will be done later. Then knowing the condense issues I have had with my airplanes when concealing a cockpit completely I have made a hole at the top of the cockpit backplate and a hole under the middle console to let the air flow freely trough the cockpit area preventing condense at the inside of the cockpit windows when the heli is standing in the sun. . You can better do this job before you close the cockpit because the wood dust will be all over at the inside of your cockpit windows, I know, I be there years ago but lessens learned Have a nice day, PS, Scaleman01 you got mail Jan, |
