No, will be this year, the test model really needed no adjustment, very minor issues I would expect from a pre-production model. This was my personal baby, Ben and I have been involved in every stage of CAD design through to this T1 test model to ensure quality, looks and flying capabilty were 100%, we are very pleased with the end result.

Too late to scale it up, yes, has cheater, however, it has been very well done, it's impossible to see in flight due to the arrangement of the slots and due to the angle they are placed at, which is also good for minimalising FOD risk. Problem with the Vampire is of course the small inlet's, if we went way over scale size we would get loads of complaints, at the kind of money this model is going to retail for we had to make a compromise and that was toward scale.

Any chance of scaling it down? Always wanted one in the 25-30" w/s area on 3 s 1500 lipo etc. Like the size of the f9f you guys sell.
Nice work Scott. S. |

Nice one Scott...and 1100WS is enough I think. It will be a great Park-flier and if the price is right and the distribution via the "in region" warehouses is assured it will be a major success. Looking forward to is...
cheers Uwe PS: Speaking of the "in region" warehouses...are you guys planning on shipping the "Lander" Panthers to Germany as well? |

I think designers should take note and work on making them not as loud and disturbing. |

Yeah, we had to give them and funjet, striker types the flick about 18 months back as a couple of local residents started to complain. It was either that or lose a 26 year old electric/glider club and it's 130 members!
Great tosee the Vamp though, might be tempted to pick one up and fly it at another local club if it turns out to be a good thing! Would be great if down the track they can get a way of quietening EdF's down, maybe lower KV higher pitch impellers or some such? Craig |

Being worked out currently, I know this much, it will be around the same price as some fairly horrible 70mm EDF models currently knocking about and quite a bit cheaper than most 70mm "name brands"....for want of a much better phrase....and this model is as good as anything I have seen from so-called name brands, in a lot of instances, better overall.
