Thanks Umi but I'm really looking for football shaped ones.

I guess elliptical is more correct.

Mike,
All I get is a blue screen with a German sentence that I can't read.

Tee, try Joannes fabric or other craft stores. They usually have a variety of eyelets in size and shape.

Depending on size - consider a boot repair place - they may have that shape. I've seen them used on the odd boat.

Ed,

It worked first thing this morning but does not work for me now. Possibly try later, the Eliptical port holes look good. They are available in 1/10 and 1/20 scale.

Will do. This is what a translator says the message is. I'll buy that.

I saw them and they are perfect. Expensive and the shipping seems outrageous. I E-mailed them to confirm the prices. There is a translated version on the site. Click on the British flag in the top right corner.

Now their site is Kaput! again.

They have some nice looking boats but their site is all screwed up. Most titles won't open, all pictures on top of each other, etc. I've not heard back from them about the port holes. Not real confidence inspiring.
Hmmm, according to their translator the word for "send" is "abschicken".

RE: custom portholes

The other thing you can do is to make a plastic pattern, and have someone locally make them. They could do the RTV mold, and pour them out of polymer. OR, if you need to chrome them, for a mega-yacht model, lost wax cast in brass/bronze and have them plated. Hope this idea helps. CaptCB
