If I use the DJI download URL it will load that page -still detects a malware issue but does not quarantine
Won't load any other page if I try to go to products or such = quarantined

That's why I convert to an Apple Mac 80 years ago. I can visit every corner of the web with out having to worry about catching an infection.
Mac with little snitch = nothing gets in or out.

I was looking at the recommended settings at the end of the manual and I don't see any for a large octo.

Do I use the default settings and go from there? or I can try the S800 settings.

Thanks

I've always had pc's, never had a virus. It's not really that hard.

Some day, some hacker is going to write something that takes macs down and i-fanboys everywhere are going to lose everything digital they have ever owned!

Dude, they are vulnerabilities, not virii.
And there's 67 on that page from the last 7 years.
So either you are supporting the OSX platform from the link you have posted (prolly not), or have no idea that windows has about that many actual Virii actually appearing each day...
If you could work it out as a risk difference rating between Win/Mac, the number would be big in OSXs favour. No?

I'd be tempted to say I've been using PCs for 18 years and never had a virus but my car is in the repairers atm when I hit a kangaroo within a week of commenting that I'd driven 1.5 million km in Australia without hitting one - won't tempt fate again!

Are going to start to discuss Operating Systems here? I'm more worried with my bird! Please come back to the TOPIC!
I'm coming back to 5.14 until more research is done.

I've never had problems with DJI software related to the OS. If you're getting malware warnings, it's possible they are false alarms.

Scan it with virustotal.com (now owned by google). That way you can see if its just a false positive on your flavor of malware protection.
