I changed the MC out, loaded 5.14, set it up as a octo in the assistant, removed the camera gimbal and 5.8vtx and just did a test flight with 11x4.7 props for 14 minutes. It flew with incident and reasonable stable. I am going to continue to load the VTX and then gimbal on as see if the problem returns. If it does not I may have a bad MC.

Second 11 minute flight and still no flip. I am noticing a rise in altitude when I yaw hard to the right. I never saw that before but it is better then what I was dealing with.

When you talk about MC, is it the MCU of the wookong or the IMU ?

I replaced the IMU yesterday and it still flipped. I replaced the MCU today and no flips in 3 10 plus minute flights each. I put the VTX back on and no flips. It is flying great now.

I have had a few WKM owners asking me about this

I have now finished these protectors for those who have asked me. The WKM is not the same size as the NAZA GPS

Robert at UAVProducts has emailed me and told me to send the WKM back to him and he will replace it with a new unit. You can't bet UAVProducts customer service.

I bought Walters protectors and I think that they are a great product. This is an unsolicited
comment and only the opinion of one "Old Dinosaur" Grandpa, but I am correct!

Interesting, doesn't the compass calibration fails with this protector+ copper? I notice with mumetal or Alu tape it keeps on failing until I remove it.oh btw I, connected it to common ground, that might be the cause but interested to know your results

Walter, now I understand your comment. These are yours, but I added
that little strip of copper tape on the outside and lined the interior with,
you are right, guitar sheilding.
